Featured Projects
As mentioned above, each non-profit web design and local web design requires a different set of tools and functions. Truly, no two are the same. It is my pleasure to design a website tailored specifically to the client’s business. Each featured project below displays each project’s needs and how I built each website to meet those needs.
Rooted Family Homeschool Cooperative
Creating a website for this non-profit was a joy. This group needed their site to utilize local SEO, a way for people to register, a way to process registration fees, and communicate the next year’s plan while also sharing what was happening during the year. They also needed a way to run online classes to support student learning.
This site has a main page with all the details of the organization and offers supporting pages to each age group as well as the events page and a dedicated registration page. It also offers a link to download the registration packet right from the primary menu.
This build included Zeffy, G Suite for Google Classroom, individual leadership emails, and Analytics, Band, WordPress, and a variety of plugins that seamlessly help the group accept donations, reach potential families and serve the current members.

The Shared Journey
A retired school psychologist turned life coach now blogs personally in her golden years allowing her to share the wisdom she has gleaned over the years both from her own life as well as the lives of those she mentored and helped along the way.
She needed to pare down her business blog to a simple personal blog, which we simplified to her writings in a newspaper-type style with headings, text, and minimal images.
Faith Fellowship Church
This non-profit needed their site updated with added functions. Local seo was important, as was a way to take donations, showcase their past sermons, and allow people to watch their services live. They also needed it to help potential visitors know what to expect and feel comfortable coming to visit. It was also important to bring brand continuity to their online presence on social media as well.
This site has a main page offering the link to the weekly live stream, brief info about the church’s programming, as well as information about the sermon series and a map. Subsequent pages offer greater details about the church’s leadership and beliefs, information about the school, events, and a page dedicated to online giving.
This project also included setting up dedicated email addresses and working with 3rd party cloud-based programs.
Using WordPress, Zeffy, a sermon management plugin, and G-suite, I was able to make this site current to design trends and fully functional.
